Evatronix hires Carsten Elgert as VP of Marketing and Sales
Update: Cadence Completes Acquisition of Evatronix IP Business (Jun 13, 2013)
Bielsko-Biala/Poland -- September 17th, 2009 - The silicon Intellectual Property (IP) provider, Evatronix SA, today announced Carsten Elgert accepted the position as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Evatronix. Elgert comes from Mentor Graphics, where he served as European Marketing Director over the last 6 years.
“In order to maintain the momentum of Evatronix in the market and further grow the company, we need to focus on a strategic marketing and sales approach,” said Wojciech Sakowski, Evatronix President and CEO. “I am very glad that we could get Carsten to finally join our company. His broad experience and proven success in technical, sales and marketing management positions within global enterprises will undoubtedly be a huge asset for us. I am sure that Carsten will leverage on his experience and introduce new standards and practices into our company, and these will turn into tangible profits for Evatronix.”
Before becoming European Marketing Director he served at Mentor as the European systems solutions manager. Since the spin-off from Intergraph Carsten was the managing director of VeriBest in Central Europe, until its acquisition by Mentor. Before that he gathered his sales and marketing experience in sales and management positions at Intergraph electronics, Cadence, SES and Caeco. After obtaining his EE degree from the University of Karlsruhe in 1983 he honed his technical skills as an application engineer and AE manager at EDA pioneer Daisy Systems.

We have all chances in our hand to significantly grow our position in the IP market over the upcoming years,” said Carsten Elgert. “Evatronix has a very strong technical offering. We take advantage of the current economic climate to update our sales and marketing processes which will bring us into the pole position when the race starts off again.”
