Novelics, Chips & Media, and Posedge Join IPextreme Constellations
Three important semiconductor IP segments add breadth to commercial collaboration efforts
Campbell, Calif., – December 1, 2009 – IPextreme®, the company bringing famous IP (intellectual property) to system-on-chip designers worldwide, announced today that Novelics®, Chips & Media®, and Posedge® have joined Constellations™, a program by IPextreme® designed to increase sales opportunities for leading semiconductor intellectual property (IP) companies.
Novelics supplies breakthrough embedded memory products that leapfrog the current power consumption, leakage, speed, and density performance barriers.
“Many applications can benefit from our embedded memory technology and with the introduction of our coolSRAM-1T™, single transistor SRAM in standard bulk CMOS, more designers than ever can take advantage of our high density and ultra-low power technology. This also complements our rich portfolio of, coolSRAM- 6T™, coolREG™, coolCAM ™, and coolROM ™,” said Farzad Zarrinfar, president of Novelics. “Constellations is a great way for us to connect with real design projects and we are positive that it will help us increase our sales.”
Chips & Media is a technology leader in the field of video IP supports multi-standard such as H.264, MPEG-2/4, VC-1. DivX, RealVideo and AVS up to Full HD resolution (1920x1080).
“Our business is expanding worldwide, but especially in North America,” said Steve Kim, CEO of Chips and Media. “The Constellations program will network the sales forces of all Constellation partner companies with our sales force and in turn will give us far more reach than we would have with our sales force alone.”
Posedge Inc. is a leading supplier of wired and wireless secure networking semiconductor IP and design services.
“Posedge offers complete wired and wireless secure networking solutions with Hardware IP, Software IP, and Design Services. We can accelerate schedule, improve quality, minimize development risk, and allow our customers to focus their critical engineering resources on their core competencies. The Constellations Program will provide us with more business opportunities for our products and we are excited to be part of it,” said Surya Hotha, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Posedge, Inc.
“I’m excited to see Constellations continue to expand and diversify its membership” said Warren Savage, president & CEO of IPextreme. “These companies offer customers leading technology that is essential for modern SoC development and will be welcome by our collective Constellations customer base.”
