EVE's Latest Emulator Offers the Lowest Cost of Ownership in the Industry
ZeBu-Server Features Easy Deployment, Fast Execution Speed, Automated Compiler, Multi-Mode/Multi-User Capability at Penny-Per-Gate Pricing
SAN JOSE, CALIF. –– December 1, 2009 –– EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, today said that ZeBu-Server, its scalable emulation system capable of handling up to one-billion application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) gates, has the lowest cost of ownership in the industry.
“ZeBu-Server boasts the lowest purchasing cost, the lowest deployment cost and the lowest infrastructure cost,” states Lauro Rizzatti, EVE’s vice president of worldwide marketing. “If you add fastest execution speed, it’s easy to conclude that our new emulator offers the lowest cost of ownership in the industry.”
Priced at less than a penny per gate for large configurations, ZeBu-Server can be shared among multiple concurrent users. It is equipped with a new, fully automated and fast compiler, and is supported by a large catalog of verification intellectual property (IP), such memory models, transactors and speed bridges. If the need arises, custom transactors can be created with ZEMI-3, a behavioral SystemVerilog compiler that reduces the time required to develop new transactors. A rich set of debugging capabilities are the foundation of a Smart Debug methodology that accelerates finding bugs in large designs.
The first green emulator, ZeBu-Server can be used as a multimode accelerator/emulator with a typical performance of 10 megahertz (MHz) on a 40-million gate design. Through its small footprint, light weight and limited power consumption, it eliminates special installation requirements, lowering infrastructure costs.
ZeBu-Server is a tool for all system-on-chip (SoC) verification needs across the entire development cycle, from hardware verification, hardware/software integration to embedded software validation.
About EVE
EVE is the worldwide leader in hardware/software co-verification solutions, including hardware description language (HDL) acceleration and extremely fast emulation, with installations at nine of the top 10 semiconductor companies. EVE products significantly shorten the overall verification cycle of complex integrated circuits and electronic systems designs. Its products also work in conjunction with popular Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL-based software simulators from Synopsys, Cadence Design Systems and Mentor Graphics.
