Global Unichip Licenses Comprehensive ARM IP Portfolio
Agreement includes broad range of ARM Cortex and Mali family processors
HSINCHU, Taiwan & CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, Apr 12, 2010 -- Global Unichip Corporation (GUC; TW:3443), a world-leading Fabless ASIC service provider, and ARM, today announced that GUC has licensed a comprehensive ARM IP portfolio including all the available ARM(R) Cortex(TM) and Mali(TM) family processors, a wide range of ARM Physical IP, system design IP including CoreSight(TM) debug and trace technology and AMBA(R)-compliant peripherals.
By combining the highest quality IP from ARM with the fully verified SoC flow from GUC, the collaboration will help streamline and optimize the advanced SoC supply chain and speed up the development of next-generation internet-enabled devices for the cloud computing environment.
