Magillem Joins ARM Connected Community
Paris, May 10, 2010 - Magillem today announced it is a new member in the ARM® Connected Community, the industry’s largest ecosystem of ARM technology-based products and services. As part of the ARM Connected Community, Magillem will gain access to a full range of resources to help it market and deploy innovative solutions that will enable developers to get their ARM Powered® products to market faster.
“We are very pleased to join the ARM Connected Community, our customers will have new automated integration capabilities of ARM cores through our flagship software: Magillem Platform Assembly for RTL and ESL abstraction levels.
A dedicated link will enable a seamless communication between Magillem Register View solution and ARM dedicated software tools. This integration has been asked by both hardware and software engineers to drastically reduce the design iteration steps and also to improve the verification path.” says Cyril Spasevski, CTO of Magillem.
About Magillem
Magillem provides to customers in the electronic industry tools and services that drastically reduce the global cost of complex design.
Magillem has developed an easy to use, state-of-the-art platform solution to cover electronic systems design flow challenges in a context where complexity, interoperability and design reuse are becoming critical issues to manage design cycle time of SOC.
The Magillem Platform actually describes existing IP blocks and stores them in a portfolio of IP and documents them, exchanges IP blocks with partners, vendors, colleagues, distant R&D centers, assembles blocks on a new platform and follows the design flow along the design process.
Magillem integrated design environment offers in a non-disruptive framework:
- a backbone to the design flow, providing fluidity, flexibility, openness,
- a cockpit for all existing EDA point tools, client-custom features,
- seamless execution of the entire flow (TLM+RTL), and better control to designers.
The ARM Connected Community is a global network of companies aligned to provide a complete solution, from design to manufacture and end use, for products based on the ARM architecture. ARM offers a variety of resources to Community members, including promotional programs and peer-networking opportunities that enable a variety of ARM
Partners to come together to provide end-to-end customer solutions. Visitors to the ARM Connected Community have the ability to contact members directly through the website.
“The Connected Community is all about companies working together to provide the most complete solutions in the shortest possible time. By joining the Community, which now comprises more than 700 companies, Magillem increases the large portfolio of skills, products and services that are centered around the ARM architecture, and currently available to developers worldwide,” said Lori Kate Smith, partnership marketing manager for ARM.
