ASICS World Services Achieves Compliance Certification for it's SATA Host IP Core
June 11, 2010 -- ASICS World Services, Ltd. is proud to announce that it is one of the first companies to achieve Compliance Certification for it's SATA Host IP Core.
The SATA I/II/III Host Controller IP Core is a full featured SATA Host controller, that provides auto-speed negotiation, various power modes, as well as native and legacy software interfaces.
The SATA Host Controller IP Core was tested on a Xilinx Virtex 6 Development board in cooperation with Xilinx Inc. The transceivers in Xilinx Virtex devices as well as the latest Spartan 6 devices where fundamental to achieve SATA compliance.
“The compliance certification by UNH demonstrates the maturity and performance of ASICS.ws IP Cores. We have passed all test with flying colors" said Rudolf Usselmann, General Manager, of ASICS.ws. "We are quite proud to offer fully certified IP Cores to our existing and future customers" continued Mr. Usselmann.
Both the SATA I/II/III Host and Device IP Cores, have already been licensed to many customers and are proven in silicon. Demonstration and evaluation systems are available upon request.
The certification process was performed at the UNH InterOperability Lab in Durham, NH, USA. The report is available from ASICS World Services, LTD upon request.
