Magillem raises US$ 1 500 000 on Euronext Paris Free Market in secondary offering led by ARKEON FINANCE
- Proceeds will be used to accelerate international deployment and advanced R&D projects with selected IDM customers.
- Company closes fourth fiscal exercise on June 30 and is profitable for fourth year in a row.
Paris, France June 16, 2010. Magillem SA, the leading provider of solutions that drastically reduce the global cost of complex designs will close its fourth exercise with a 20% growth and profit. Magillem sells a scalable, easy to use, state of the art platform solution to cover design flow challenges in a context where complexity, interoperability and IP re-use are becoming critical issues to manage design cycle time of complex systems.
The objectives :
- Streamlining design , production and work flows
- Capitalizing on existing IP, content and know how
- Protecting R&D investments and maximizing returns
Magillem 's industry expertise can achieve a real quality improvement for customers helping them to deal successfully with the implementation of a new methodology. We can leverage the knowledge, experience and solutions we have to address our customers' needs when it comes to the most challenging projects : the motto is to give them the tools to mine their own expertise and add value to their business.
In the past twelve months, Magillem has launched REV.ENGE for Systems Integrators :
- Rev.Enge captures and traces all the information on the designs.
- A true mapping of a complex system, specifying all the relationships, dependencies, attributes, parameters, files location, but independent from the various tools and data formats used for the design, will preserve the life term of the system beyond the one of its parts. Rev.Enge enables flawless and homogeneous design flow integration for targets such as ASICs, FPGAs, electronic boards, AMS systems, complex systems.
Built on an IP-XACT (IEEE 1685) meta data centric backbone it provides:
- A standard, unified and seamless environment to exchange information
- A streamlined follow up on progress of any part of the system development in a multi-site organization with customized “views” on the project
- Ensured consistency between description, documentation and sources.
Rev.Enge meets specific requirements of customers such as:
- Reporting and Documentation,
- Safety and Traceability of Critical systems Designs.
- Flexibility and versatility are granted by a powerful Generator Studio, for the users to program their ow flow modules
In spring 2010, Magillem has also released Meta-X, a cockpit to drive content enabled applications, a publishing platform that adapts to various industries by plugging their "schema” to the platform, and allowing end users to design new applications with a content generator studio. Powerful composite packaging and assembly, smooth integration and deployment, ease of use : Meta- X is an open, global platform that will cover all needs of a content strategy: using, reusing and versioning content, and pulling content out of application release cycles. Combined with a dedicated schema for a specific field or application, it enables vertical solutions targeting the legal ecosystem, technology providers, business media providers,...etc
Meta-X is the spot where valuable content meets strategic applications.

About IEEE 1685 (IP-XACT)
IP-XACT is an undisputed worldwide XML format that defines and describes electronic components and their designs. IP-XACT was created by the SPIRIT Consortium, now part of Accellera, as a standard to enable automated configuration and integration through tools. 150 industrial companies and organizations. The goals of the standard are:
- to ensure delivery of compatible component descriptions from multiple component vendors, to enable exchanging complex component libraries between electronic design automation (EDA) tools for SoC design (design environments),
- to describe configurable components using metadata, and to enable the provision of EDA vendor-neutral scripts for component creation and configuration.
