EVE Stands Firm Against Mentor Graphics Corporation's Allegations
SAN JOSE, CALIF. –– August 16, 2010 –– Mentor Graphics Corporation announced today that it filed a complaint against EVE alleging infringement of its United States Patent No. 6,876,962 issued April 5, 2005, titled “Method and Apparatus For Concurrent Emulation of Multiple Circuit Designs On An Emulation System.”
“Once again, Mentor Graphics Corporation is attacking us,” says Dr. Luc Burgun, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of EVE. “As before, we do not see the merit of this lawsuit. For example, the complaint does not explain what elements of the above patent we are accused of violating. We are going to vigorously defend our rights.
“EVE delivers the most innovative standard FPGA-based emulators on the market and we expect 2010 to be a tremendous year for EVE,” adds Burgun.
