Innopower Unveils iPaaS IP program
- One program fits all SoC IP requirements!
- A subscription based IP program to optimize your SoC design
Hsinchu, Taiwan, August 24, 2010 -- Innopower Technology Corporation today unveiled iPaaS, iP-as-a-Service. iPaaS is the new name for Innopower's IP program with cloud service in leading technology nodes. The name reflects the company's focus on providing IP and service to the customers on-demand and efficiently.
"Innopower is committed to supporting customers with comprehensive IP solutions to meet customers' needs," said Lee Chu, Vice President of Business Development at Innopower. "iPaaS includes a wide spectrum of IP needed for most SoC designs today. In the past, a fabless company needs to purchase specific IPs for their project from different sources. With iPaaS, customers can subscribe the whole range of IP with one license, then pick the solution on-demand. The IP overhead will be lighter, more flexible and cost-effective."
The iPaaS IP Program provides comprehensive IP offering and service in specific process node with subscription-based access. A variety of IP and service packages are available depending on the customer's needs, it will provide solutions such as digital controller IPs and variety of feature options for library and memory compilers.
Innopower will provide iPaaS in various foundry processes. The first iPaaS program offers the packages in 55nm (LP) process as below.
iPaaS 55LP
- Standard cell library and memory compiler
- Library with multi-options of cell-height, the first product offers the library with 6 and 12 track options
- Memory compiler with 7 separate architectures of SP SRAM, DP SRAM, 1PRF, 2PRF, ROM, Ultra-High-Speed, and Ultra-High-Density memory.
- Analog and digital IPs
- Customers can pick up the required analog and digital IP from Innopower's existing available IP portfolio on demand.
Availability
iPaaS 55LP is now available, iPaaS 65LP will be ready by end of Q3, 2010. iPaaS 40G and iPaaS 40LP will be ready by Q4, 2010.
About Innopower Technology Corporation
Innopower is a wholly owned subsidiary of Faraday Technology Corporation. As a separate legal entity, it leverages Faraday's past development experience, extensive automation capabilities and acquired patent portfolio to offer competitive semiconductor intellectual properties (IP) for foundries, IDM's and fabless design companies. The product offering focuses on the fundamental libraries (standard cells, memory compilers and I/O's) , special I/O and functional IPs (such as USB, PCI Express, Ethernet). Innopower holds a significant market share in the Silicon IP market as we inherited Faraday's years of experience in Silicon IP field.
