D&R selects Advanced Semiconductor Technology Ltd. (AST) to be its distributor and technical representative in Israel
Grenoble -- August 31, 2010 -- D&R has developed a unique configurable Enterprise IP Management Platform since more than a decade. Based on a broad extensive portfolio of Java commands operating on XML tagged objects, the platform got early acceptance from major telecom companies for various applications such as managing external IP’s including FPGA and ASIC IP’s, merging dispersed data base content in a centralized viewer, promoting internal reuse among geographically distributed design centers.
AST was selected for its experience and success as a distributor in the EDA & IP market in Israel, a highly active chip design territory. We expect this relationship to lead to a much increased exposure for D&R Enterprise IP Management Platform. We believe that this mature generic platform, initially inspired by the IP_SoC design environment, can now be deployed aggressively to serve the IP_SoC design community, design service companies and electronic system houses.
“We are excited to work with AST. We will be able to deploy in a short time a tremendous set of applications following their client needs” commented Gabrièle Saucier CEO of D&R.
“D&R Enterprise Platform for Internal and External IP management solution offers unique capabilities to address the challenges of IP Management,” remarks Uri Farkash, Director of EDA & IP Operations at AST. “We see tremendous opportunities for D&R’s products within Israel.”
