NetLogic Microsystems licenses Imagination Technologies' visual IP technologies
October 5, 2010 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE: IMG; "Imagination") – a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") – reports that it has signed a license agreement with NetLogic Microsystems, Inc., a leader in high-performance intelligent networking semiconductor solutions, for IP cores from Imagination’s POWERVR multimedia family.
NetLogic Microsystems will deploy Imagination’s technologies in certain of its future products.
Under the terms of the license agreement Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues based on shipments of semiconductor products incorporating Imagination's IP.
