Cosmic Circuits announces portfolio of Analog-to-Digital Converter IP-cores for Monitoring Applications across multiple process nodes
Update: Cadence Completes Acquisition of Cosmic Circuits (May 23, 2013)
Low power & compact foot-print cores for applications ranging from 8 bits-12bits and across 40nm – 180nm technology nodes
Bangalore, INDIA and Campbell, California, 17th January, 2011:- Cosmic Circuits, a leading provider of differentiated Analog and Mixed-Signal IP cores, today announced its portfolio of over 30 Analog to Digital Converters for Monitoring applications.
The Analog to Digital Converter cores typically used for Monitoring Applications are available at 8 - 12 bits of resolutions and speeds from 200KSPS to 20MSPS. These Converters are ideally used for monitoring battery-voltages, touch-screen, temperature monitoring, RF power level monitoring, sensors and several control-loop applications. They are available across multiple process nodes ranging from 40nm-180nm.
Cosmic Circuits offers a broad portfolio of differentiated Analog IP cores in nanometer technology nodes covering Data-Converters, Analog-Front-End platforms for Wireless and Audio, Power-Management, Clocking and MIPI Interfaces.
The Director of IP of Cosmic Circuits Sundararajan Krishnan commented that ”We have licensed these monitoring ADCs to a number of customers spread across applications and geographical regions and have recently enhanced our portfolio with the addition of the low-power 12-bit 2MSPS ADCs. The latest class of 12-bit ADCs are silicon proven in TSMC65LP and available for immediate integration in SoCs”.
