FPGA veteran Robert Blake joins Achronix as president and chief executive officer
Achronix expands management team; founder John Lofton Holt to serve as chairman of the board of directors
Santa Clara, Calif. -- April 15, 2011 -- Achronix Semiconductor Corporation today announced that Robert Blake has joined the company as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Blake joins Achronix from a distinguished career in the semiconductor industry including executive-level positions at Altera and most recently, as CEO of Octasic. Achronix founder John Lofton Holt will continue to play a critical role within the leadership team as chairman of the board of directors. In this capacity, Mr. Holt will continue to focus on a variety of global strategic initiatives to enable Achronix to expand its share of the high density, high performance FPGA market.
