Cortus Appoints Roddy Urquhart as VP Sales & Marketing
June 1st 2011 - Cortus S.A., the technology leader in ultra low power, silicon efficient, 32-bit processor IP cores appoints Roddy Urquhart as Vice President Sales & Marketing with immediate effect. Dr Urquhart will focus on expanding the worldwide business of Cortus and on building its position in the market.
With almost 30 years experience in the IC design business, Roddy Urquhart brings a strong track record of business development, marketing and team leadership to Cortus. He joins Cortus from Alpha Star Ltd where he was Director. Prior to that, he was Senior Director Synopsys Professional Services responsible for Europe and India. He has also held marketing positions at Synopsys and Mentor Graphics.
