Cosmic Circuits provides ARM with PLLs used in test chip evaluations at multiple technology nodes
Update: Cadence Completes Acquisition of Cosmic Circuits (May 23, 2013)
Bangalore, INDIA and Campbell, California, 26th September, 2011 -- Cosmic Circuits, a leading provider of Analog & Mixed Signal IP cores and ASICs today announced that its PLL solutions are being used by ARM to evaluate their libraries in multiple technology nodes.
Cosmic Circuits offers a broad portfolio of differentiated Analog IP cores in nanometer technology nodes covering Data-Converters, Analog-Front-End platforms for Wireless and Audio, Power-Management, Clocking and MIPI Interfaces.
“We selected Cosmic Circuits PLL for our test chip evaluation because of its wide selection of PLLs for a broad range of technology nodes,” said Dipesh Patel, Vice President of Technology, ARM. “Cosmic Circuits’ extensive portfolio and investment in state of the art validation facilities ensures accurate silicon results. In addition, the flexibility, customer support and availability of IP across multiple foundries make Cosmic Circuits a valuable partner for ARM as we continue to develop leading intellectual property in multiple technology nodes.”
Sundararajan Krishnan, Director of IP at Cosmic Circuits, commented that “We are very excited that ARM is using our PLLs in multiple technology nodes. We have invested heavily in enlarging our PLL portfolio and given the range of applications and process nodes that our solutions cover, we expect to see significant adoption of our clocking solutions with customers. ARM using our PLLs in multiple nodes is one such example. ”
About Cosmic Circuits
Cosmic Circuits is a leading provider of differentiated Analog, Mixed-Signal silicon IP cores and Analog ASICs. Cosmic offers a strong portfolio of 250+ cores in nanometer process nodes of leading foundries.
