NanGate Design Optimizer and Library Creator for Advanced 28nm SoC Design Adopted by Fujitsu Semiconductor
NanGate Solution Improves Fujitsu Semiconductor’s IP Development Productivity and SoC Design Performance.
SUNNYVALE, Calif.-- October 18, 2011 --NanGate, the leading supplier of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solution for digital cell library development and design optimization, today announced that Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited has adopted NanGate’s Library Creator, a comprehensive tool set that enables efficient creation and validation of digital cells, and NanGate Design Optimizer, an IC analysis and post-route optimization tool, into its advanced 28nm design environment.
With Fujitsu Semiconductor’s strong focus on accelerating 28nm design projects and their need to support process variants, Fujitsu Semiconductor has concluded a successful evaluation of NanGate’s solution. “Fujitsu Semiconductor’s business growth depends on our continuous improvement in design development quality and efficiency. Qualified for 28 nm technology and below, NanGate’s Library Creator tool set was designed to handle complexity of advanced process technology while delivering an automated and integrated solution for custom cell development. With Library Creator, designers can control and alter the individual attributes of digital library cells, to make precise adjustments and automate to create extended cell variants. Combined with the Design Optimizer, which has the ability to utilize large extended cell set in its unique optimization technology, NanGate solution fits seamlessly into existing EDA flow yet delivering much improved results.
