eMemory Receives TSMC IP Partner Award for Second Year in a Row
Hsinchu, Taiwan -- Nov. 14, 2011 -- Embedded non-volatile memory silicon IP provider eMemory Technology Inc. announced today that it has once again received the TSMC IP Partner Award. This year’s award, recognizing the contributions of TSMC’s IP Alliance partners, is the second straight for eMemory. The award encompasses four major IP areas, including Interface IP, Analog/Mixed Signal IP, Foundation IP, and Specialty Embedded Memory IP. Selection is based on customer feedback, TSMC-9000 compliance, and technical support excellence.
“TSMC is pleased to have eMemory receive this honor for the second straight year,” said Suk Lee, TSMC Director of Design Methodology and Service Marketing at TSMC. “eMemory provides products that meet our TSMC 9000 criteria, and received good customer feedback.”
“eMemory and TSMC began this long-term partnership in 2003,” said eMemory President Rick Shen. “To date, TSMC has already manufactured over 1.5 million wafers with embedded eMemory NeoBit IP. This second receipt of the IP Partner Award acknowledges eMemory’s technical ability, long-term involvement in customer projects and commitment to quality.”
Since its establishment in August, 2000, eMemory has developed NeoBit (one-time or multiple times programmable device), NeoFlash (10,000-times programmable device), and NeoEE (100,000-times programmable device) embedded non-volatile memory silicon IP and technology. eMemory continues to push forward into advanced process nodes, and is dedicated to providing silicon IP products and technology services for broad customer adoption. eMemory currently employs around 200 people, is the world’s largest provider of embedded non-volatile memory silicon IP, and is a publicly traded company listed on the Taiwan Gre-Tai Securities Market (code 3529).
