Xilinx Alliance Program Introduces Highly Qualified Premier Design Services Providers to Accelerate Customer Design Productivity

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 14, 2011 -- Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) today introduced the Premier Design Services membership tier of the Xilinx Alliance Program, as an extension of its Design Services member base, to help FPGA customers accelerate new product development and make it easier for FPGA users to find the right partner for their design and development needs.

The inaugural members of the Premier Design Services ecosystem are CoreEL Technologies (India) P. Ltd., Fidus Systems, Inc., and Tokyo Electron Device Ltd.  These firms possess engineering centers of excellence across North America, EMEA, Japan, and APAC.  Each Premier Design Services member provides system-level electronics design, including FPGA, embedded processor, and mixed-signal board design.  Individual members may also provide additional services such as industrial design, mechanical design, software development, and manufacturing capabilities.  All Premier Design Services members maintain FPGA experts who have passed the same rigorous training on FPGA design as Xilinx Field Engineering worldwide, and are provided access to a similar level of Xilinx hotline and webcase support.
