Mojy Chian Appointed New Chair of Socle Technology
December 13, 2011 -- Socle Technology Corporation today announced the appointment of Dr. Mojy Chian, senior vice president of design enablement at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, to serve as the company's new chairperson with immediate effect.
Dr. Chian, senior vice president of design enablement at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, is responsible for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' global design enablement, services and solutions. He is the primary technical customer interface for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. With his leadership, Socle will be an extension of GLOBALFOUNDRIES' customer design enablement and elevate the level of cooperation with GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
Dr. Chian has extensive leadership experience in silicon process technologies, specifically in the areas of design methodology and automation. He worked with Altera Corporation & Mindspeed Technologies. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering, as well as a master's degree in applied math from Florida Institute of Technology.
