Mentor Graphics Appoints Three New Executives
WILSONVILLE, Ore., January 12, 2012 - Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT) today announced the appointment of three executives. John Lenyo has become vice president and general manager of the company’s Design Verification Technology Division; Joseph Reinhart has been appointed vice-president of Corporate Development and Investor Relations; and Richard Trebing has been named corporate controller and Chief Accounting Officer.
John Lenyo was previously general manager of the Design Verification Technology Division. He has an extensive background in the electronics and semiconductor industries. After holding positions at IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Synopsys, Lenyo joined Mentor in 1999 as marketing director of functional verification technologies, and became general manager of his division in 2008. He has a BSEE from Rutgers University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Joseph Reinhart joined Mentor Graphics in 2008 as director of investor relations and corporate development. Previously he was vice president and corporate secretary at Electro Scientific Industries (ESI), responsible for investor relations, external business development and legal affairs. Prior to ESI, Reinhart held positions at Mechanical Technology, Norstar Venture Capital and C.L. King & Associates. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York.
Richard Trebing joined Mentor Graphics in 1989 and has held various positions in finance and accounting, most recently as the company’s senior director of finance. Prior to his tenure at Mentor Graphics, Trebing served as financial planning and analysis manager at OECO Corporation, and production planning manager and financial analyst at Spectra Physics Corporation. Trebing holds a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University and an MBA from University of Oregon.
