Fixnetix Selects Intilop's TCP Offload Technology to incorporate in their Low Latency solutions
Europe's Second-Fastest Growth Company Uses Intilop’s Technology
Santa Clara and London, March 01, 2012 – Intilop, Inc. a pioneer and a recognized leader in providing complex Ultra-low latency networking Mega-IP building blocks and systems, today announced that Fixnetix – one of the fastest growing companies in EMEA – has selected Intilop’s TCP Offload Technology to develop their low latency appliance solutions. These are slated to be deployed around the world in the near future. The technology was licensed over a year ago.
Fixnetix now offers 79 markets on an ultra-low latency framework to clients wanting trading, market data and risk control services. Intilop’s relationship with Fixnetix helps Fixnetix develop very high performance direct connectivity solutions for financial markets.
“Intilop is pleased to be an appointed provider of low latency TCP Offload technology IP to Fixnetix for their solutions framework. To be chosen by Fixnetix is yet another direct endorsement of our Industry leading TCP Offload product line.” says Kelly Masood, CTO of Intilop.
“Early adoption technology development involves an enormous amount of time, patience and most importantly, collaboration, “says Matt Dangerfield, Director of Trading Solutions, Fixnetix. “Intilop has proven technology which has helped our company develop & deploy iX-eCute, the world’s fastest solution for pre-trade, At-trade risk control without delaying/effecting the order life cycle latency, in effect real-time ultra-low latency controlled execution with peace of mind.”
Intilop recently launched their new 4th Gen. 10G Ultra-low latency TCP Offload Engines and UDP Offload Engines, SX-Series product line which for the first time achieved sub-100 nanoseconds latency benchmark and line rate throughput. The highly deterministic performance, reliable and proven ultra-low latency, coupled with customizability offered by the SX-Series 10G TOE and UOE is being extremely effectively in gaining lowest overall system latency of close to a micro and wire-speed performance.
Moreover, the SX-Series offers unprecedented TCP throughput of more than 95% for large and small payload sizes on a 10G network, which is 8-15x higher as compared to the prevalent TCP/IP software.
