Microcross and Micro Digital Sign Product Integration Pact
ATLANTA, GA. (PR Newswire) April 22, 2002, Microcross, Inc., a global provider of embedded software development tools and support services, today announced an agreement with Micro Digital, Inc. Micro Digital is a leading provider of advanced real-time operating system (RTOS) solutions for embedded applications.
Under the agreement, Microcross will integrate GNU X -Tools with Micro Digital's SMX �RTOS providing mutual OEM customers with a highly effective alternative for creating an open-source, non-royalty based software development environment for 16, 32 and 64-bit processor applications. The integrated solution is targeted for system-on-a-chip applications such as cable modems, set-top boxes, MP3 players, digital still cameras, wireless products, and more.
