Cosmic Circuits announces aggressive hiring plans

Bangalore, INDIA and Campbell, California, August 27, 2012 --Cosmic Circuits, a leading provider of differentiated Analog and Mixed-Signal IP cores and ICs, today announced that it is growing by 40% to address the growing demands of its IP and IC business units.
Cosmic Circuits’ IP business is targeted towards offering AMS (Analog and Mixed-Signal) and Connectivity IPs for SoC integration. With over 500 IP cores in its portfolio, Cosmic Circuits has been well-known in the IP market for several years now and continues to build on this reputation by securing several key accounts in the past few months. Cosmic Circuits also announced its connectivity roadmap offering a wide range of connectivity IPs such as USB, PCIe, HDMI and MIPI M-PHY in 28 and 20nm. Cosmic Circuits’ 28nm silicon is a first pass success and expects to tape-out its first 20nm test-chip in the coming months.
Cosmic Circuits IC business unit has 5 products (ASICs) in mass-production and shipped its 20 Millionth unit in July 2012 and plans to have additional products in the market by the end of the year.
