eMemory Receives TSMC IP Partner Award Three Years Straight
Hsinchu, Taiwan -- Nov. 07, 2012 -- eMemory, the global leader in embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) announced today that it has received the IP Partner Award from TSMC for the third year in a row. This award recognizes eMemory in such areas as technical support, customer service and continued innovation. eMemory is the only Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) supplier in Taiwan to receive the honor three years consecutively and was commended, along with other recipients in the SIP industry from around the world, during TSMC’s the Open Innovation Platform Forum held in Silicon Valley on Oct. 16, 2012.
The IP Partner Award consists of four major categories--Interface IP, Analog/Mixed Signal IP, Foundation IP, and Specialty Embedded Memory IP. The selection standards include a number of criteria, such as customer feedback, adherence to TSMC-9000 IP compliance, technical support, service capabilities, and the number of IP used.
eMemory President Rick Shen pointed out, "Based on the long-term partnership and collaboration between eMemory and TSMC, I am very honored that we have been receiving the IP Partner Award given by TSMC three years straight. It represents positive feedback for eMemory and a high level of confidence from customers in the quality of eMemory products, technology, and services."
"eMemory provides a complete IP array that meets TSMC-9000 IP compliance,” said Suk Lee, TSMC Senior Director, Design Infrastructure Marketing Division. The company received very high appraisals in such areas as technical support and customer service, so we are pleased present this award to eMemory.
Since eMemory and TSMC began working together in 2003, over 150 eMemory SIP have passed TSMC-9000 IP compliance. eMemory has also completed 523 new tape-outs and an accumulated total of more than 2.2 million embedded eMemory SIP wafers have been employed in a variety of TSMC’s manufacturing process platforms.
