Imagination announces latest Rich Communications Suite and HelloSoft V.VoIP mobile and embedded SDK

Yokohama, Japan -- November 14, 2012 -- Imagination Technologies, a leading multimedia and communications technologies company, announces the latestrelease of the HelloSoft’s Rich Communications Suite client, an integrated multimedia communication solution.

Imagination’s HelloSoft Rich Communication Suite (RCS) enables advanced features such as enriched voice and video calling with multimedia content sharing capabilities, enhanced address book/contacts, and messaging (SMS/MMS) over MSRP. It is compliant with GSMA RCS 5.0/5.1, IR.92 VoLTE standards and integrates all of features of the latest release of HelloSoft’s V.VoIP (Video and Voice over IP) SDK.

Other key capabilities include multi-homed session support (logging into multiple devices using the same profile) with synchronized presence and support for login to multiple devices simultaneously, seamless handoff and XDM and XCAP implementation per OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) and 3GPP standards. The Rich Communications Suite client enables video sharing during a circuit switched call while audio is still in CS (circuit switching) mode and supports live video or video play from a local file.
