ItoM Successfully Concludes Patent Litigation With Texas Instruments and Honeywell
Eindhoven, The Netherlands -- November 20, 2012—Semiconductor Ideas to the Market (ItoM) B.V. announced today that it has dismissed Texas Instruments and Honeywell from its patent infringement lawsuit pending in the Eastern District of Texas. ItoM and Texas Instruments entered into a Settlement and License Agreement the terms of which are confidential. The patent lawsuit alleged that many companies in the mobile telecommunications space have infringed two of ItoM’s patents covering its proprietary transceiver technology. ItoM resolved the dispute with respect to the other defendants, including Qualcomm and Broadcom, several months ago.
“We are happy that we were able to bring this lawsuit to a successful conclusion,” commented Peter Langendam, ItoM’s CEO. “ItoM has a broad array of intellectual property rights covering its many innovations in transceiver systems, and we will continue to ensure that we are fairly compensated for the use of our technology,” Dr. Langendam concluded.
ItoM is represented by Houston-based Antonelli, Harrington & Thompson LLP, a law firm that specializes in patent litigation and enforcement, as well as ItoM’s Ottawa, Canada based licensing services company, Pachira IP Inc.
