Nvidia Adopts Arrow Devices' UniPro CheckMate Verification Solution
Arrow Devices, a verification IP & services company, takes a fresh approach to tackle complexities that arise in verification of MIPI UniPro standard by providing a plug-and-play verification solution that lets customers focus on their design deliverables. This plug-and-play approach to verification promises to change the verification IP market by challenging the incumbents who provide components but not full solutions. Unlike standard VIPs that are available as components, Arrow Devices offers a complete solution with its proprietary "CheckMate" methodology developed over last 2 years. Arrow Devices’ CheckMate solution provides not just Bus Functional Models (BFMs), but also the entire test-suite with a detailed Test-bench, comprehensive coverage plan and packaged debugger tools. Using Arrow Devices' verification approach, companies can reduce their verification cycle time by 40% or more by eliminating the test-bench development effort. Arrow Devices' "CheckMate" approach has enabled top semiconductor companies to ship bug-free chips and SoCs.
“Arrow Devices’ Unipro Checkmate Verification IP provides us a comprehensive solution that helps us focus on our main deliverable - high-quality UniPro silicon” said Krishnaraj Rao, Director of Engineering at Nvidia. “ Our experience with products, services and solutions from Arrow Devices has always been positive and we look forward to another such experience.”
Aditya Mittal, CEO, Arrow Devices, said “Arrow Devices is committed to providing high-quality verification IPs for MIPI protocols. We are pleased to work with early adopters such as Nvidia.” Arrow Devices MIPI UniPro Verification IP provides BFM along with a full-featured constrained-random Test-bench that implements a comprehensive test-plan and coverage suite. The MIPI UniPro Verification IP Solution from Arrow Devices works with IPs, SOCs as well as system level verification environments.
UniPro (or Unified Protocol) is a high-speed interface technology for interconnecting integrated circuits in mobile phones or comparable products. The UniPro standard is defined within the MIPI® Alliance. Arrow Devices is witnessing a strong interest among customers for it UniPro Checkmate Verification solution. "By offering world's first plug-and-play verification solution, Arrow Devices is looking to set a new trend in verification by providing a comprehensive solution and not just IPs" said Aditya.
