CircuitSutra to Support Growing SoC Market in India with Forte’s SystemC-Based High-Level Synthesis Software
SAN JOSE, CALIF., and NOIDA, INDIA –– May 31, 2013 –– Forte Design Systems™ (www.ForteDS.com), the #1 provider of software to enable design at a higher level of abstraction, and CircuitSutra (www.circuitsutra.com) announced today they will partner to provide design services throughout India to support the growing system-on-chip (SoC) market.
As part of the agreement, Forte and CircuitSutra, an Electronics System Level (ESL) design intellectual property (IP) and services company, will co-develop ARM® AMBA® AXI™ and OCP-IP™ models compatible with Forte’s Cynthesizer™ SystemC high-level synthesis (HLS). They will work together to deliver onsite consulting and training for Cynthesizer users in India.
“CircuitSutra’s mission to help semiconductor companies and the electronics systems companies adopt SystemC-based ESL methodologies neatly corresponds to Forte’s,” remarks Brett Cline, Forte’s vice president of marketing and sales. “India offers tremendous opportunity to expand SystemC HLS usage and we believe CircuitSutra will play a big role in this effort.”
Adds Umesh Sisodia, chief executive officer of CircuitSutra: “Forte’s continued focus on SystemC-based HLS is impressive, as is its commitment to support and service. We take pleasure in having the opportunity to work with Forte. The ESL IP that we will co-develop will help the mutual customers to quick start their HLS-based design projects.”
Forte will demonstrate Cynthesizer 5, the next-generation of SystemC high-level synthesis for SystemC high-level design and verification, and SystemC IP development during the 50th Design Automation Conference (DAC) in Booth #1547. DAC will be held Monday, June 3, through Wednesday, June 5, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
