Elliptic Technologies Elects Veteran Executives to Board of Directors and Targets Aggressive Growth
Update: Synopsys Expands Security Solutions with Acquisition of Elliptic Technologies (June 29, 2015)
June 26, 2013 – Ottawa, Canada -- The Board of Directors of Elliptic Technologies, a leading provider of field-proven embedded security and content protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Mark Stibitz and Dr. Richard Reiner as its newest members.
Mark Stibitz is Co-Founder and President of Adaptive Chips, Inc. and Principal of Peak Value Solutions, LLC. He is also board director at Diablo Technologies. Mark has over thirty years of business management, global market strategy and product development experience spanning semiconductor and enterprise datacenter markets. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Storage Division of PMC-Sierra and prior to that, as Vice President and General Manager at Agere Systems (formerly Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group). Mr. Stibitz has also held a variety of technical and marketing management positions with AT&T Bell Laboratories and sits on various technical advisory boards and committees.

He was also founder, CEO, and CTO of Assurent Secure Technologies, acquired in 2006 by TELUS and has served on the boards and advisory boards of many highly regarded early-stage companies in the IT infrastructure, security, and SaaS sectors. Richard can be found in the media, quoted in the New York Times, CBS, NBC, USA Today, CIO, and hundreds more technology publications.
