Algotochip Received Significant Investment From Nitto Denko
Investment enables expansion of engineering and sales and marketing resources
SUNNYVALE, Calif.-- June 27, 2013 -- Algotochip, specialists in converting C models of algorithms directly to a complete SoC silicon IP, announced that Nitto Denko, a $7B Japanese company, has significantly increased its investment, making them a primary investor in Algotochip. This additional investment will enable Algotochip to expand its engineering team and to establish a global sales and marketing organization as it moves forward with its business strategy. While the Algotochip BlueboxTM, can be used to support any SoC, ASIC or FPGA design, the company plans to expand its help to potential customers by providing foundry-ready C-code for technologies like Advanced LTE, Smart Grid, multimedia applications and other communications markets.
"Not only is Algotochip able to make the silicon design effort more efficient by reducing design cycle times and design costs," said Richard Warzyniak, Senior Analyst. "Their design approach can offer customers the opportunity to have more designs completed in less time and for less money than competing alternatives."
"Algotochip is the first company to provide a complete C-code to GDSII solution for SoCs, ASICs, FPGAs or IP Blocks," said Tak Shigihara, Algotochip's president and co-founder. "This investment from Nitto Denko will reinforce our patented approach and assist a broader array of customers."
