Trusight Partners with Vivante to Deliver Streamlined OpenCL and OpenGL ES 3.0 Image Processing Solutions
Sunnyvale, CA – July 11, 2013 –Trusight, Inc., a pioneer in DRC (Digital Retinal Code) image processing technologies, announced that it has partnered with Vivante Corporation to deliver a streamlined OpenCL and OpenGL ES solution of Trusight’s patented video and CGI (computer generated imagery) processing technology. DRC unlocks the visual processing algorithm that happens between the retina and brain, creating a disruptive innovation that revolutionizes the viewing experience on any screen. The Vivante optimized solution intelligently enhances and transforms media content to match real world colors, HDR, and details, while delivering notable power and bandwidth savings.
Trusight’s solution has raised the bar for image quality and features found in mass market products that match the broad color spectrum found only in high end studio production equipment. Using the Vivante GPU to program the Trusight algorithm gives the best balance of visual quality, bandwidth reductions, and power savings to extend battery life. The algorithm leverages the high precision GPU shaders for robust computations without image precision loss.
“Trusight processing is the most lightweight visual content optimizing solution available today; it provides disruptive power savings, delivers greater image clarity and content intelligibility that pleases both consumers and professionals,” stated Scott Slater, Trusight’s CEO and Founder.
Vivante Corporation CTO Mike Cai says, “Vivante has created a winning GPU solution for mobile and embedded devices. We are excited to offer Trusight to our mutual customers to help them deliver high quality imaging solutions fully optimized for our programmable OpenCL and OpenGL environments that scales to any screen size, form factor, and power envelope.”
