Addresses Growing Indian SoC Market
MILPITAS, California, Jan. 28, 2014 -- Sonics, Inc., the world's foremost supplier of network-on-chip (NoC) technologies and services, today signed a new representation agreement with Chipware Technologies, Bangalore, India. Chipware will represent Sonics' full line of on-chip network products and services for the growing Indian market.
Chipware has a strong track record of success selling to and supporting Indian design teams that are developing complex systems-on-chip (SoC) and currently represents several design technologies complementary to NoC from leading electronic design automation (EDA) vendors. Addition of Sonics' portfolio of on-chip network products gives Chipware a broad range of capabilities it needs to address the functionality, performance, power, security, and cost requirements of SoC architects and design teams.
