Allegro DVT increases its turnover by 80% in 2013 and consolidates its leadership on HEVC/H.265 technologies
Grenoble, February 5, 2014. -- Allegro DVT takes pride in reporting a significant turnover increase in 2013, as we were able to augment our revenue by more than 80% over the year. This has outmatched initial projections for 2013, and confirms the excellence of Allegro DVT's products portfolio.
These outstanding results confirm Allegro DVT as an innovative and financially stable partner, as we were able to gain market shares on all fronts, and grasp momentum thanks to disruptive HEVC products.
In 2013 we presented significant achievements:
- Allegro DVT was the first company to introduce an HEVC decoder IP with Main/Main10 4K support. This IP can be integrated on both SoCs and FPGAs platforms for high volume consumer application such as tablets, mobile phones and set-top boxes.
- Allegro DVT confirmed its position as a market leader on HEVC compliance streams. Allegro DVT is the only company to make available a complete HEVC/H.265 test solution, comprising tools for checking syntax, performance and error resilience of HEVC decoders. Allegro DVT test suites cover HEVC/H.265 Main and Main10 profiles, up to 4K resolution. Our HEVC compliance streams, already adopted by more than 30 IC vendors, have quickly become an industry de-facto standard.
Allegro DVT will not rest on its laurels in 2014, and already seized the opportunity to develop new innovative products, that will be announced later this year.
Feel free to come meet us at TVConnect, EE Live! 2014 and DAC 2014, for a demonstration of our HEVC/H.265 products.
Allegro DVT is a leading provider of H.264/MPEG-4 AVC|SVC|MVC and HEVC/H.265 solutions, including industry standard compliance test suites, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and HEVC/H.265 encoder, codec and decoder hardware (RTL) IPs; and multiscreen encoders and transcoders.
