PLDA and Mentor Graphics strengthen longstanding technical collaboration
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- March 25, 2014 -- PLDA, the industry leader in PCI Express IP solutions today announced that PLDA and Mentor Graphics have made significant progress toward effective interoperability between their respective products. The technical collaboration at the heart of the improved interoperability was accomplished by using PLDA PCIe IP during regression testing, across multiple test scenarios, for the Mentor Graphics Questa functional verification platform, including Questa Verification IP (VIP).
"Proven interoperability between multiple PCIe technology vendors is a fundamental cornerstone for PCIe robustness," said Stephane Hauradou, CTO of PLDA. "After having run the interoperability process with multiple systems, ASSP, chipsets, PHY IPs, we are now going one step further with interoperability in the design and verification flow itself, to provide more value to our customers."
