Silicon Motion Licenses Mobiveil's UNEX NVM Express Controller to Accelerate SoC Design
High-Quality, UNH-IOL Certified IP and Superior Technical Support to Help Silicon Motion Accelerate SoC Development Time and Reduce Risk
MILPITAS, CA-- June 02, 2014 -- Mobiveil, Inc, a fast growing supplier of silicon intellectual property (SIP), platforms and IP-enabled design services, today announced that Silicon Motion, a world leader in high performance, low-power semiconductor solutions to OEMs and other customers in the mobile storage and mobile communications markets, has licensed Mobiveil's UNEX NVM Express controller IP for system-on-chip (SOC) designs. This agreement gives silicon motion access to Mobiveil's highly configurable, UNH-IOL (University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab) certified IP. Mobiveil's leadership in the fast growing PCI Express based Flash storage market enables Silicon Motion to reduce risk and speed time-to-market for their semiconductor designs.
