I-TEN wins the Electron d'or Award 2014 for the start up of the year
July 22, 2014 -- Major event for the electronic industry in France, the 17th edition of the Electron d’Or rewarded I-TEN as the start up of the year 2014. Founded in December 2011, I-TEN is an innovative start up developing a disruptive process that allows manufacturing of a new generation of SMD all solid-state microbattery.
Fabien GABEN, founder and CEO of I-TEN, received his prize by the magazine «ElectroniqueS», in Paris at the FIEEC (Federation of Electric, Electronic and Communication Industries), on June 18th 2014 in front of 150 personalities from the electronic industry.
Among a selection of leading electronics companies from all over the world, the jury of experts has decided to reward I-TEN for «best start up of the year».
This award honors the technology developed by the company as well as its management. «Considering the fame of the prize, it is a great pride for the team at I-TEN», says Fabien GABEN. « Both our technology and business model are rewarded today».
After a successful series A founding of 4.3 millions dollars in February 2014, I-TEN is once again under the spotlights. It is with even more ambition and confidence that the company is now focusing on the industrialization phase of its products.
About I-TEN:
I-TEN is an innovative start-up, founded in December 2011 by Fabien GABEN. I-TEN has developed a tiny electronic component, capable of storing a large amount of energy directly inside the electronic board that does not require any change in the manufacturing process. The company has begun the pre industrialisation phase of its process and aims to become a leading actor of the electronic industry. I-TEN is looking to sell its components worldwide I-TEN has been supported by BPI France during the seeding phase of the project, and has closed a series-A founding in 2014, of 4.3 M$ with Innovacom, Demeter Partner, Rhône Alpes Création and R2V venture companies.

Electron d’Or Award is a prize ceremony organized every year by ElectroniqueS magazine.
