HDL Design House Successful AAE Exam Completion
Belgrade, Serbia – September 2nd, 2014 – HDL Design House, provider of high performance digital and analog IP cores and design and verification services for the most complex SoC based and built around ARM® CPU, has announced that its engineers successfully completed the ARM AAE program, a global exam-based accreditation program for individuals wishing to demonstrate their knowledge of ARM technology, and obtained the certificate for ARM Accredited Engineers. Having previously announced its commitment to adopt the ARM Accredited Engineer Program, and thus become one of the first companies to adopt this program, HDL Design House will now be able to answer the customers' growing need of providing ARM-based solutions and expertise.
After completing the AAE training provided by experienced ARM AAE educators in May this year, 22 of HDL Design House engineers started the thorough preparations for the AAE exam, focused on software-related aspects of ARMv7-A and ARMv7-R Architecture. The successful completion of the AAE exam and gaining the AAE certificate will assure customers of the ARM architecture expertise and knowledge of HDL Design House engineers. HDL Design House team that can provide expertise for ARM related projects has now grown to over 40 engineers.
“This is a crucial milestone in the twelve-year development of our company. HDL Design House has always striven to deliver the highest quality reliable services to its customers, and the AAE certification of our engineers serves as a guarantee of our expertise.“ said Predrag Markovic, HDL Design House CEO.
”It is hugely encouraging to see the HDL engineers performing so well in the ARM accreditation exams,” said Greg Arnot, Director of Marketing, Partner Enablement Group, ARM. “The results show the benefits of receiving training directly from ARM. This accreditation demonstrates HDL’s depth of commitment to the ARM architecture and its expertise in supporting its customers.”
HDL Design House has been an ARM Connected Community Partner for years, having executed more than 30 ARM-based SoC projects so far. More engineers will be taking the AAE exam by the end of the year, as HDL Design House's long-term plans include the AAE certification of every HDL DH engineer.

About AAE Program:
The ARM Accredited Engineer (AAE) Program is a global accreditation program that allows embedded software engineers to become ARM Accredited Engineers. It provides robust and comprehensive industry-wide accreditations that employers can use as reliable benchmarks for hiring new staff and to measure the success of training and skills development programs. The AAE accreditations allow engineers to stand out from the crowd and demonstrate the skills necessary to successfully design products using the most advanced, power-efficient and high performance microprocessor technology on the market.
The AAE program currently offers two accreditations; the ARM Accredited Engineer exam, focused on software aspects of the ARMv7-A and ARMv7-R architecture profiles, and the ARM Accredited MCU Engineer (AAME) exam, focused on software aspects of the ARMv6-M and ARMv7-M architecture profiles.
