PathPartner Technology joins HDCP licensee group
Bangalore, India -- November 05, 2014 -- High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) provides a robust, cost-effective and transparent method for transmitting and receiving digital entertainment content to compliant digital displays. HDCP has been adopted as the content protection technology used by modern content transmission technologies like HDMI, DisplayPort and Miracast. Joining Digital Content Protection (DCP) LLC as a HDCP licensee, allows PathPartner Technology to offer HDCP component solutions.
PathPartner offers a complete HDCP 2.2 implementation, which includes transmitter, receiver and repeater support. The implementation has been developed for Miracast and has been put through extensive interoperability testing.
"A common query from many customers for our Miracast solution has been about HDCP support. Becoming a licensee allows us to be a one stop shop for an entire Miracast solution" said Ramkishor Korada, Executive VP - Sales, Marketing & Business Development.
"PathPartner's 2.2 HDCP stack has been extensively tested for interoperability. We also offer custom implementations on DSPs and FPGA" said Dipanjan Ghosh, Chief Technology Officer.
PathPartner’s solutions can be customized based on the need of the OEMs. OEMs looking for licensing of the solutions or interested in PathPartner services can reach out to sales(at)pathpartnertech(dot)com or sales(dot)usa(at)pathpartnertech(dot)com.
