TVS' new US office represents continued global expansion and commitment to customers worldwide
Bristol, UK, 18 November 2014 – TVS, a leader in software test and hardware verification solutions, today announced that it is opening an office in Silicon Valley, USA. In a move that exemplifies and underpins its global expansion, TVS’ US based office will be staffed by technical experts able to offer the company’s range of products and services to customers in North America.
The US represents the largest market for TVS products and services in both software testing and hardware verification, so opening a US office is a natural step in the continuing TVS expansion story.
Mike Bartley, CEO and founder of TVS, stated, “As with all our offices, the key to success is the quality of the TVS staff. The local US office means that our clients will have a local technical solution architect to interface with, in detail, on a daily basis rather than a program manager.”
Since 2008 TVS has been expanding its products and services, number of employees and its geographical footprint. TVS now employs 140 technical staff globally serving over 50 clients and partners, including eight of the top ten global semiconductor companies, as well as a number of highly motivated start-up companies.
The TVS US office will be run by Sunil Kakkar, TVS’ newly appointed General manager and chief technologist, USA, an expert in unifying simulation and formal verification approaches. Kakkar, commented, “Our goal is to enable the delivery of fully working first time silicon and to stay within the quality, costs and schedule constraints of our customers.”
Sunil Kakkar’s strengths lie in strategizing and implementing pragmatic and design appropriate verification environments and test benches that amalgamate traditional functional verification and evolutionary formal verification techniques to assure an on schedule, successful first tape out.
Bartley, concluded, “Part of our success is due to our ability to provide teams of technically qualified staff with a local technical expert. Our US office in The Valley will follow the same model.”
