The new Sansa Security Trustlet for Microsoft PlayReady offers developers complete HD-ready and robust PlayReady implementation for smartphones, tablets and entertainment devices. Microsoft PlayReady has established a wide and deep ecosystem that reaches a wide array of devices and OS to drive the optimal user experience.

The Sansa Security Trustlet for Microsoft PlayReady is field-proven across a broad range of connected devices and on Android® and Linux® operating systems. The client is in mass production across multiple programs at top-tier vendors including Samsung, HTC, Vestel, Technicolor and others.
Microsoft, Studio and Content-Provider Compliant
Sansa Security’s implementation of PlayReady adheres to Microsoft’s Compliance and Robustness rules as well as to the stringent requirements set by major Hollywood studios and content providers. The solution leverages Sansa Security’s vast hands-on experience, in-depth systems knowledge and hardware-based security expertise. Sansa Security’s PlayReady implementation provides a secure content data path and all of the essential elements required for a robust implementation, including secure provisioning, enhanced anti-rollback, optimized cryptography and integration with hardware security elements.
Android and Linux Support
The Sansa Security Trustlet for Microsoft PlayReady addresses the security vulnerabilities of open operating systems. The client supports all versions of Android as well as multiple Linux flavors. For Android-based devices, the client includes full integration with the Android Media DRM framework and enables immediate DRM awareness of all multimedia applications. For native Linux devices, the Sansa Security API allows quick integration into HTML5-based browsers using the EME interface and integration with customer-specific media frameworks such as GStreamer and others.
