DELTA Microelectronics and Smartest GmbH cooperate in the Fabless market
Copenhagen, Denmark -- November 24, 2014 -- DELTA Microelectronics and Smartest has made a partnership by which both parties can offer more services and flexibility to the Fabless market. The cooperation model enables DELTA Microelectronics and Smartest to continue business as usual, but also to explore the synergies between the two companies.
DELTA Microelectronics is a turnkey-provider with ASIC design, package design, test development, test facilities, qualification, failure analysis and supply chain management services in-house.
Smartest GmbH is an independent provider of highly efficient ATE test solutions and semiconductor testing training.
The immediate synergies are within customers having their product development capabilities in Europe and the need for volume testing at top Tier OSAT’s. Here DELTA Microelectronics and Smartest can offer a pre-production model where the customer can carry out test development, engineering, qualification and ramp-up in Europe close to their design centres.
DELTA Microelectronics and Smartest will cooperate from their respective offices in Denmark and Munich, Germany.
