Think Silicon Ltd. Welcomes Former MIPS and NETLOGIC Executives to Advisory Board
PATRAS, Greece and SAN JOSE, California, December 19, 2014 -- Think Silicon Ltd., today announced the appointment of Gideon Intrater and Stefanos Sidiropoulos to the company's Advisory Board.

Gideon Intrater
Gideon has served as Vice President of Marketing for MIPS Technologies, a public company, until it was acquired in 2013. Before that, he was MIPS' Vice President of Product Marketing and Applications. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Intrater was Vice President of Architecture for Symwave, a privately-held, venture-backed supplier of high-performance analog/mixed signal semiconductor solutions for consumer devices. From 1998 to 2008, he held various management positions at MIPS Technologies, including Vice President of Solutions Architecture. From August 1987 to June 1998, he held positions of increasing responsibility at National Semiconductor Corporation, including Director of the Core Technology Business Unit. From 1982 to 1987, he was a Team Leader and an engineer in an elite research and development unit of the Israel Defense Forces. In addition to holding over 25 issued patents, he is a recognized expert in patent management, marketing and sale. Gideon also brings a keen understanding of processor-based system architecture and the challenges associated with implementing, marketing and deploying such technologies. He earned BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
Stefanos Sidiropoulos
Stefanos has over two decades experience in the semiconductor industry. From 1993 to 2001 he worked in R&D and management positions at various established and start-up companies (Rambus, MIPS, DEC, 8x8 Inc). In 2001 he co-founded Aeluros Inc, a fabless semiconductor company that pioneered the use of CMOS ICs in the optical Ethernet market. He was Aeluros' CEO until the acquisition of the company by Netlogic Microsystems in 2007. He was then the VP/GM of Netlogic's Physical Layer Products division until 2011, when the company was acquired by Broadcom Corp. Subsequently he was with Broadcom's Infrastructure Networking Group and currently works with a number of start-up companies. He received B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in computer science from University of Crete, and a PhD degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1997. He has published technical papers and has been awarded patents in areas ranging from analog circuit design to networking algorithms and memory systems.
Founded in 2007, Think Silicon LTD is a privately held company located in Patras Greece (HQ) and Toronto, Canada (Sales&Marketing office). The company focus is the development of ultra low power, high performance graphics IP technology to realize the full potential of the next product generation for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
