Design And Reuse adds Actel to its IP web portal
GRENOBLE, France, July 29, 2002 – Design and Reuse (D&R) today announced that Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL), a supplier of innovative programmable logic solutions, has joined D&R's IP Provider Partner Program, a web-based semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) directory. Actel has added over 30 intellectual property cores to D&R's online IP portfolio, extending Actel's reach to the global FPGA design community.
"We are very excited about being listed on the D&R SIP web portal," stated Yankin Tanurhan, Senior Director of Actel's IP Solutions Group. "The Design and Reuse listing will help FPGA designers, who are burdened with challenging - time-to-market goals, easily examine our library of IP cores and quickly integrate them into their design."
"D&R is committed to expanding its offerings and services to companies worldwide," said Gabriele Saucier, chairman of the board of Design & Reuse. "We are pleased that Actel, a leading FPGA solution provider, has joined D&R's growing roster of silicon providers, IP vendors and IP integrators. This step emphasizes our mutual goal to help companies and designers develop products quickly and efficiently."
On the Design and Reuse site (http://www.design-reuse.com/), Actel's customers will have the ability to search for and access IP cores. A detailed description of each Actel-optimized core is provided and links are also available to Actel's web site so customers can immediately obtain more detailed information about Actel FPGA devices and IP cores.
