Chips&Media appoints Dream Chip Technologies as Sales Representative for Europe
Hannover, Germany & Seoul, Korea – February 25th, 2015 - Dream Chip Technologies GmbH (DCT), the largest independent German Chip Design Service company, and Chips&Media Inc., a leading provider of video IP cores, are pleased to announce their new partnership. DCT combines its competences in ASIC/FPGA design, system design and embedded software with Chips&Media's Ultra HD (4k) video technology. DCT will represent Chips&Media’s industry’s leading video cores in Europe offering high performance video encoder and decoder for 4k resolution to a wide range of key markets from now on.

Chips&Media’s BODA™ video cores decode multiple format including HEVC (H.265), VP9, H.264, VC-1, H.263, DivX, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, AVS, RealVideo and Sorenson Spark with optimal support in resolutions from D1 through to Ultra HD (4k). The CODA™ cores are multi-standard video engines and provide a full range of encoding and decoding capabilities with support for simultaneous multiple channel or format, suited to mobile phone, digital camcorders, video conferencing, and video surveillance.
At the Embedded World in Nuremberg (February 24th-26th, 2015) Dream Chip Technologies has a booth in hall 5 (No. 5-171). DCT will be also present at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (March 2nd -5th, 2015).
