Open-Silicon Appoints Margie Evashenk to Its Board of Directors
MILPITAS, CA– March 16, 2015 - Margie Evashenk, an experienced engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in the networking and storage industry, specializing in ASIC development, joins Open-Silicon’s Board of Directors. She joins a company that has grown from being a leader in transforming netlists into ASICs to creating platform-level solutions from customers’ market requirement documents. Margie will lend her expertise and market knowledge to help position Open-Silicon to benefit from its full-service, specification-to-volume-production offering.

Margie served as a SVP engineering and Chief Development Executive at Emulex from 2006 to 2014. From 2001 to 2006 Margie served as a Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering of Sierra Logic, which was acquired by Emulex. Prior to this she served as a Director of Product Development, Storage Networking Division at Agilent Technologies from 1999 to 2001, and held various positions in ASIC design, supply chain, and management at HP from 1989 to 1998. Margie holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Davis.
