RFEL licences ChannelCore Flex for Novator's new NC-10 Channeliser and the NCR-2000 Channeliser server
Newport, Isle of Wight, UK - 7 May 2015 - RFEL has licensed its ChannelCore Flex™ IP to Novator Solutions, who are using it in the NC-10 Channeliser, the heart of its new NCR-2000 Channeliser server. The NC-10 and NCR-2000 will be launched at Electronic Warfare Europe and a full product demonstration will be given at the RFEL stand number 54, as part of RFEL's demonstration of its wide range of capabilities.
Henrik Ulfhielm, CEO of Novator Solutions, said, "Novator Solutions product experience and RFEL's channelisation expertise is a perfect combination, delivering a comprehensive RF analysis tool, ready to perform out of the box."
Novator NC-10
The Novator Solutions NC-10 provides the LabVIEW community with the possibility to use RFEL's powerful Channeliser on the National Instruments PXI platform. This allows customers to realise their solutions rapidly, working in LabVIEW's high-level design tools using comprehensive LabVIEW APIs to manipulate and process data. The full functionality of RFEL's ChannelCore Flex is fully supported in LabVIEW and this allows users to take full advantage of the core's features, including dynamic reconfiguration, tuning, BW control and channel filter response. Up to 1024 channels can be dynamically assigned in real-time to support a wide range of end-user applications, including Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Electronic Warfare (EW) as well as a wide range of commercial applications. The NC-10 Channeliser can be purchased on National Instruments LabVIEW Tools Network as a software package or directly from Novator Solutions bundled together with an NI PXIe-7975R FPGA board, priced in the region of 21600 Euros. Novator NCR-2000
The NCR-2000 Server family is a turnkey solution, including one or two high performance Vector Signal Analysers that allows users to acquire, channelise and demodulate signals of interest. On-board demodulators include FM and AM, and others are available on request. The NCR-2000 can use additional Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) for enhanced Real Time Spectrum Analysis capabilities that enables the customer to channelise and record signals that are otherwise impossible to detect. The NCR-2000 family is available now.
Alex Kuhrt, RFEL's CEO added, "RFEL's IP licensing business continues to grow strongly as we continue to provide leading edge solutions in terms of high performance, low power and compact size that are continually setting new standards. We provide customers with the technology advantage to win market share over their competition. RFEL has a global presence in Electronic Warfare and Homeland Security where our technology and solutions allow military and security agencies to stay ahead of the terrorist threat."
The ChannelCore Flex solution is already licensed by several companies and agencies around the world, providing unparalleled channelisation capability for SIGINT and COMINT solutions, which require a wide range of configurable channels and excellent RF performance. ChannelCoreFlex is part of the extensive Flex IQ™ suite of signal processing cores that RFEL has available for high-performance signal processing on FPGAs. This comprehensive toolbox of signal processing cores allows RFEL to realise complex customer solutions with reduced time and risk, and deliver increased performance and support.
