Stars of IP Party Shines at DAC 2015 in San Francisco
IPextreme teams with twenty-one leading semiconductor industry players to celebrate the IP ecosystem
Campbell, Calif. – May 28, 2015 – IPextreme, Inc. today announced that it will again collaborate with key players in the semiconductor intellectual property (IP) ecosystem to host the annual Stars of IP party at Novela in San Francisco, California, on the evening of Tuesday, June 9, 2015. The event coincides with this year’s 52nd Design Automation Conference (DAC), which takes place June 7 – 11 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.
Stars of IP celebrates all things semiconductor IP and seeks to build relationships among IP provider companies and customers, strengthening the ecosystem. The success of the inaugural Stars of IP event in Austin, Texas in 2013 established the party as an annual fixture at DAC. This tradition continued last year at 51st DAC in San Francisco with a strong showing—double the co-host companies and guest headcount over the previous year.
Growth has continued, and this year’s Stars of IP party has garnered an unprecedented twenty-one companies and semiconductor industry organizations signing up to co-host alongside IPextreme: Adapt-IP, Altair*, ARM, Atrenta, CAST, Certus Semiconductor, Constellations, DAC, Dassault Systèmes, eSilicon*, Kilopass*, Methodics*, Mobiveil*, NGCodec*, OneSpin Solutions*, Rambus, Sidense*, Sonics, Synopsys, True Circuits, and TSMC. Together, the co-hosts will invite over 400 of their best customers and partners to enjoy the party. *Denotes first-time co-host.
“Stars of IP is my favorite event of the year, hands down,” said McKenzie Mortensen, Director of Marketing, IPextreme, who has served as Stars of IP coordinator since its inception. “It is an absolute pleasure to collaborate with some of the brightest stars in the industry to make this party possible. Their support and engagement during the planning process means the world to me, and I look forward to another great evening of fun as we come together to spoil our customers and celebrate IP.”
