With the current economic conditions and the high cost of ASIC development, designers are moving toward cost-effective, programmable logic solutions. Altera's CDC program brings world-class system-on-a-chip designers into the world of SOPC applications. The CDC program gives Altera customers access to the SoC design expertise often required in today's most complex SOPC applications, integrating Altera's FPGAs, Excalibur™ embedded processor solutions, IP, and their own customized logic. Using Altera devices, tools, and IP, CDC partners act as a single point of contact and help designers minimize design cycles and decrease development costs and risks.
"Certified Design Centers are Altera's premier design services partners," said Ali Erdengiz, director of technical services at Altera. "Our customers can rest assured that they are receiving best-in-class engineering services from Altera CDCs."
