INVECAS and NetSpeed Systems collaborate to create powerful reference platforms
INVECAS licenses NetSpeed IP to bring next generation platforms using GLOBALFOUNDRIES 28 nm and 14 nm LPP technologies
San Jose, Calif. -- June 24, 2015—NetSpeed Systems Inc., the supplier of on-chip network IP that is streamlining SoC design, announced today that INVECAS has licensed NetSpeed’s IP to develop next generation reference platforms that use GLOBALFOUNDRIES 28 nm and 14 nm LPP technologies.
INVECAS is a design services provider focused on accelerating customer introduction of new products on leading-edge semiconductor process technologies. The company provides services that complement GLOBALFOUNDRIES in-house global design solutions and has a track record of delivering spec-to-silicon solutions for complex SoC designs. The new integrated reference platforms are intended to provide GLOBALFOUNDRIES customers with the features and capabilities needed to rapidly bring their products to market and will include IP such as standard cells, IOs, memories, analog, and complex interface IP solutions. INVECAS also offers customization services including IP licensing, design and verification, and development of system software including drivers.
INVECAS is licensing NetSpeed's on-chip network IP platform that provides a new level of automation in designing SoC interconnects and delivers significant time-to-market advantages through a system-level approach. “NetSpeed IP is a unique physical NoC IP solution that delivers staggering time-to-market benefits,” said Dasaradha Gude, CEO of INVECAS. “NetSpeed’s architecture synthesis platform enables system architects to rapidly and reliably convert our reference platforms into customized application-specific SoCs.”
