PathPartner announces the availability of high performance and high quality HEVC encoder and decoder solutions on Intel server class and client (i5, i7) platforms. Our universal HEVC decoder implementation supports robust error resiliency and error concealment techniques. PathPartner is continuously working on improving the quality and performance of both encoder and decoder to achieve optimal video delivery. The HEVC codec solutions are suitable for broadcast, video infrastructure, video conferencing, transcoding, online gaming, media playback and many more applications. - Supports Main, Main 10, Main 12, Main 4:2:2 10 and Main 4:2:2 12 profiles at multiple bit rates
- Real time encoding of 4K, 60 fps on Intel Xeon (2x18 Haswell cores) @ 2.3 GHz for Main and Main 10 profiles
HEVC Decoder
- Supports x86 family platforms with AVX2 extensions
- Supports Main & Main 10 profiles at multiple bit rates
- Supports Range Extension profiles (4:2:0/4:2:2, 8-bit/10-bit/12-bit)
- Real time decoding of 4K, 60 fps on Intel i5/i7 @ 3.4 GHz for Main and Main 10 profiles
